Magic Lumixus ViewFinder offers a precise framing preview tailored for the specific camera and lens combination you plan to use, conveniently accessible on your iPhone or iPad. Designed to simulate the field of view of Panasonic, Lumix, and Olympus digital cameras and lenses, this app is a valuable tool for professionals in photography and filmmaking.
Important Note: Magic Lumixus ViewFinder functions as a standalone director's viewfinder and does not convert your Apple device into an external monitor.
The app features ad banners, which can be deactivated through an additional in-app purchase accessible in the 'Get Premium Features!' menu.
Operating as a digital director's viewfinder, Magic ViewFinder allows users to visualize the precise field of view for their upcoming shots. Users can select the desired camera model from the menu and adjust the focal length using the interactive wheel.

Magic ViewFinder also offers the option to simulate tele adapters or anamorphic optics on your camera via the menu. Additionally, users can customize the aspect ratio of the frame guide overlaying their image.
The app provides color presets (LUTs) that can be applied to the live picture, enhancing the visualization of the final shot.
Users have the ability to capture images for future reference, with supplementary data such as focal length, date/time, and camera/lens information. During capture, exposure locking and AF toggling are available for improved control over captured images.
White balance functionality includes Auto, Locked, or Manual modes. To compensate for variations in field of view between physical and in-device cameras, the app adds 'padding' around wider shots not visible on the device.
Users are advised to align their iPhone or iPad with the 'nodal point' of their actual lens to achieve accurate results. The 'nodal point' represents the weighted center of the optics.
The ad placement is designed to be minimally intrusive. Users can opt to disable ads through settings.
For advanced features such as full access to optical adapters and frame guides along with ad removal, users can subscribe monthly at $1.49 or make a one-time purchase of premium features for $4.99 via the 'Get Premium Features' menu.
